The Splendora Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting West Orange-Stark Mustangs to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Splendora improves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Woodville (Woodville, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, March 4. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-4.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, April 4. West Orange-Stark will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX).
