The Wheelersburg Pirates (Wheelersburg, OH) basketball nipped the host South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), 58-55 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Pirates (20-4) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (McDermott, OH). The Mohawks go into the non-league test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Northwest got by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH), 71-49, in a non-league test.
The Pointers now own a 14-10 record.
