The Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) baseball the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 13-9 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Greenwave now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 11.
With the defeat, North Mecklenburg drops to 1-2 on the year. The Vikings host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
