The North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX), 12-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Griffins now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. North DeSoto will clash with a Apaches team coming off a 20-0 league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, LA). The Apaches record now stands at 5-7.
With the defeat, Elysian Fields drops to 1-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Ore City (Ore City, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
