The Washington Generals baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Greenville Hornets to 0 in the Generals non-league win on Monday.

The Generals now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pillow Academy for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Washington will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to North Delta (Batesville, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Greenville moves to 2-3 on the season. The Hornets host Independence (Independence, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 3-4. Independence lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS)
