The South Lafourche Tarpons baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Patterson Lumberjacks to 5 in the Tarpons non-league win on Monday.

The Tarpons now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. South Lafourche will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Cecilia (Cecilia, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.

With the defeat, Patterson drops to 2-11 on the year. The Lumberjacks host Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-3. Slaughter Community Charter lost 12-4 in their recent non-league test against Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
