In Monday's non-league game, the host Rayville Hornets baseball team scored a nice 14-2 victory over the Richwood Rams.
The Hornets (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Harrisonburg defeated Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA), 13-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rams face the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 1 game, on Wednesday, March 5. Richwood will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
