Michigan High School Basketball - Marlette bests Akron-Fairgrove

The Marlette Red Raiders basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings to 18 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Red Raiders now possess a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Kingston for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 5. Marlette will play a Cardinals team coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Akron-Fairgrove falls to 6-14 on the campaign.
