The Lions now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bear Creek for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. McClatchy will play a Bruins team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Franklin drops to 2-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Edison (Stockton, CA) to play the Vikings in a test on Wednesday, March 12. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 0-5. Edison lost 17-6 in their recent non-league test against Lathrop (Lathrop, CA)
