In Monday's non-league contest, the host Cypress Lake Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-4 win over the Marco Island Academy Rays.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palmetto Ridge (Naples, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Palmetto Ridge was overwhelmed by Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL), 8-6, in a league contest.
Next, the Rays meet the The Village School of Naples Knights (Naples, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 5. Marco Island Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL).
