In Monday's non-league contest, the host Heritage Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 win over the Leesville Road Pride.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.

Next, the Pride meet the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 6. Leesville Road will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).
