Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Elite Scholars Academy moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Royal Knights travel to Trion (Trion, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Area 4 test on Friday, March 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-1.
The Chargers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hampton for a 5A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 4. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 7-1 league win over Jones County (Gray, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
