Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Manti Templars (Manti, UT), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Salem Hills advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT) to clash with the Soaring Eagle in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Soaring Eagle come into the test with a record of 0-1. Juan Diego Catholic lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Kearns (Kearns, UT)
The Templars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Fork for a non-league test on Friday, March 7.
