In Monday's non-league match, the host Centennial Cougars softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the LaVergne Wolverines.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Independence (Thompson's Station, TN). The Eagles come into the 4A District 10 match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Independence notched a victory over Spring Hill (Columbia, TN), 14-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Battle Creek Grizzlies (Spring Hill, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 4. LaVergne will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
