The Pioneer Mustangs softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies to 1 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 5.

With the loss, Gunderson moves to 0-1 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Notre Dame (San Jose, CA) to confront the Regents in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. The Regents come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Notre Dame won 7-5 in their recent non-league battle against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)
