The St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), 12-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grapevine for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 5. St. John will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Westlake (Austin, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-2.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies enter the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Newman edged Jesuit (New Orleans, LA), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
