In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Ropes Eagles baseball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Idalou Wildcats.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Dimmitt tipped San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX), 12-2, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crane for a non-league match on Thursday, March 5. Idalou will battle a Cranes squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over McCamey (McCamey, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 5-3.
