The Austin Black Bears softball squad (Decatur, AL), was routed 16-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout with the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL)
The Senators (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Northridge was routed by Lamar County (Vernon, AL), 10-5, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Black Bears battle the Florence Falcons (Florence, AL) in a 7A Area 8 bout, on Thursday, March 5. Austin will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL).
