The Mayfield Trojans softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Ysleta Indians to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 21.

With the loss, Ysleta moves to 7-12 on the season. The Indians host Burges (El Paso, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 6. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Burges lost 14-2 in their recent non-league battle against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
