The Spurger Pirates softball team (Spurger, TX), was routed 19-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout with the host Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX)
The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Chester (Chester, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 1-10 record. In their last bout, Chester was routed by Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 13-8, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats (Daisetta, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, March 6. Spurger will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Hardin (Hardin, TX).
