North Carolina High School Softball - South Stanly bounces West Davidson

March 3, 2026: Norwood, NC 28128

Fans at Tuesday's non-league match between the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) and the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), witnessed South Stanly's softball team nudge West Davidson by a count of 5-1.

With the triumph, South Stanly upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls host Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, March 6. The Knights enter the game with a record of 3-1. Ardrey Kell won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Butler (Matthews, NC)

The Dragons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host West Stokes for a non-league game on Friday, March 6. West Davidson will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
