In Wednesday's league game, the host Howard Lions baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Hammond Golden Bears.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions go into the Howard County game with a 1-4 record.
The Golden Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats go into the Howard County game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Wilde Lake tipped Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD), 12-5, in a league game.
