The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) and the visiting Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC), saw Blue Ridge's softball squad achieve victory over Wade Hampton by a count of 20-4.
The Fighting Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Palmetto for a AAA Region 2 match on Friday, April 1. Blue Ridge will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Wade Hampton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Generals host Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to face the Rebels in a AAAAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 5. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 9-3.
