Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Colts now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Magnificat for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Cloverleaf will battle a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Chippewa falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chipps host Dalton (Dalton, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Wayne County challenge on Monday, April 4. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
