The East Rowan Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights to 2 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, East Rowan improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to clash with the Spiders in a South Piedmont 3A game on Friday, April 1. The Spiders come into the game with a record of 2-5. Concord won 6-5 in their recent league game against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game, on Thursday, March 31. Gray Stone Day will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 6-5 league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC).
