The Summerville Green Wave softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Goose Creek Gators to 0 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Summerville improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Green Wave host Stratford (Goose Creek, SC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, April 1. The Knights come into the game with a record of 8-1. Stratford won 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Stall (Charleston, SC)

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) in a AAAAA Region 7 game, on Friday, April 1. Goose Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Stags come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC).
