The Poquoson Islanders routed the visiting Jamestown Eagles softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Islanders (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans go into the Bay Rivers battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, New Kent nudged York (Yorktown, VA), 11-9, in a league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Grafton for a Bay Rivers battle on Monday, April 11. Jamestown will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 4-0.
