In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Yorktown moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Elwood (Elwood, IN) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 11. Lapel will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
