The La Junta Tigers baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Trinidad Miners to 3 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, St. Mary's gained a win over Fowler (Fowler, CO), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Miners (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Mean Moose go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Alamosa was overwhelmed by Eaton (Eaton, CO), 11-1, in a non-league match.
