The Seward Bluejays crushed the visiting Platteview Trojans baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Skutt Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 1. Seward will face a SkyHawks team coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Millard West (Omaha, NE). The SkyHawks record now stands at 4-2.
Next, the Trojans face the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 3. Platteview will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Central City/Fullerton/Centura (Central City, NE).
