The Porter Pirates baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Sequoyah Indians to 8 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (16-3) will now prepare for their match against Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Memorial was overwhelmed by Collinsville (Collinsville, OK), 19-0, in a league match.
The Indians (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Locust Grove tipped Chelsea (Chelsea, OK), 8-1, in a non-league match.
