Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Framingham Flyers (Framingham, MA) in a Bay State match, on Friday, March 31. Newton North will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Newton South drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA) to battle the Colonials in a Dual County match on Monday, April 3. The Colonials come into the match with a record of 0-0.
