In Thursday's league game, the host Jay Royals baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Baker Gators.
The Royals (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Foley (Foley, AL). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Foley was edged by St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS), 5-1, in a non-league game.
The Gators (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Pensacola Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record.
