The Wheatmore Warriors baseball team (Trinity, NC), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC)
The Spartans now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Asheboro for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. Central Davidson will encounter a Blue Comets squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Wheatmore moves to 3-7 on the year. The Warriors host Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.
