In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Hayfield Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 victory over the South Lakes Seahawks.
The Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Justice for a National test on Monday, April 10. Hayfield will face a Wolves squad coming off a 13-11 non-league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.
In their next game, the Seahawks face the Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 1. South Lakes will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Sharks come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA).
