North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Western Guilford drops to Northwest Guilford

Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 17-1 in a league test.

The Vikings now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. Northwest Guilford will face a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 7-4.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) in a Metro test, on Tuesday, April 4. Western Guilford will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 21-9 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).
