The Granby Comets smashed the visiting Phoebus Phantoms soccer squad by a margin of 7-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Comets now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a non-league match on Monday, April 3. Granby will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The Braves record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Phoebus drops to 1-3 on the season. The Phantoms host Heritage (Newport News, VA) to encounter the Hurricanes in a Peninsula match on Tuesday, April 11. The Hurricanes come into the match with a record of 0-5. Heritage lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)
