The Horicon Marshmen softball team scored 24 runs and limited the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats to 0 in the Marshmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Horicon moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Marshmen travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league game on Friday, March 31. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 2-0. Oak Harbor won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Vermilion (Vermilion, OH)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) in a District 54 game, on Monday, April 3. Buckhorn will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 13-2 league loss to Hazard (Hazard, KY).
