Arizona High School Softball - Cienega bounces Cholla

The Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) softball routed the host Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), 17-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bobcats (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers go into the non-league bout with a 14-5 record. In their last bout, Tucson High Magnet School toppled Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ), 14-2, in a non-league bout.

The Chargers now sport a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they host Ironwood Ridge for a 5A Southern match on Monday, April 3. Cholla will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Desert View (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 14-7.
