Florida High School Softball - Hilliard gets by Sandalwood

The Hilliard Red Flashes (Hilliard, FL) softball nipped the visiting Sandalwood Saints (Jacksonville, FL), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Red Flashes (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Yulee (Yulee, FL). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 4-13 record.

The Saints now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Atlantic Coast for a 7A District 1 bout on Monday, April 3. Sandalwood will confront a Stingrays squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine, FL). The Stingrays record now stands at 1-11.
