Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) and the visiting Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), witnessed Lemont's softball squad prevail over Hononegah by a count of 10-2.

The Lemont HS now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Downers Grove North for a non-league match on Monday, April 3. Lemont will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Hononegah moves to 0-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL) to meet the Rocks in a non-league match on Saturday, April 8. The Rocks go into the match with a record of 3-3. Rock Island won 3-0 in their recent league match against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
