The Lincoln-Way East Griffins routed the visiting St. Laurence Vikings softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Griffins (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.
The Vikings now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Mother McAuley for a GCAC- Red battle on Saturday, April 1. St. Laurence will confront a Mighty Macs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 2-3.
