Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shekinah Christian Flames (Plain City, OH), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1.

With the loss, Shekinah Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Flames travel to Delaware Christian (Delaware, OH) to face the Eagles in a Mid Ohio Christian challenge on Monday, April 3. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
