Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamos for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. Robertson will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 17-3 league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Ruidoso falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to face the Timberwolves in a 3A District 4/5 challenge on Saturday, April 1. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. East Mountain lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM)
