Illinois High School Baseball - Paris loses to Arcola

The Arcola Purple Riders crushed the host Paris Tigers baseball team by a count of 19-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Purple Riders now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Villa Grove for a Lincoln Prairie bout on Monday, April 1. Arcola will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-4.

Next, the Tigers face the Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Paris will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL).
