In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans baseball team scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Berwick Bulldogs.
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Blue Raiders go into the Schuylkill County 1 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Tamaqua tipped Lehighton (Lehighton, PA), 6-4, in a league game.
The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets go into the Wyoming Valley 1 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Crestwood edged Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
