North Carolina High School Baseball - Jones loses to Columbia

The Jones Trojans baseball team (Trenton, NC), was overwhelmed 12-8 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC)

The Wildcats now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear Grass Charter for a Atlantic 1A outing on Monday, April 8. Columbia will confront a Bears team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Voyager (Durham, NC). The Bears record now stands at 10-1.

Next, the Trojans confront the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 1. Jones will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 17-10 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
