The East Peoria Raiders baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Tremont Turks to 1 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Mid-Illini match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Limestone was overwhelmed by Union Grove (Union Grove, WI), 12-1, in a non-league match.
The Turks (1-3) will now prepare for their match against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers go into the Heart of Illinois match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, LeRoy was overwhelmed by Delavan (Delavan, IL), 12-4, in a non-league match.
