In Saturday's non-league game, the host Naugatuck Greyhounds baseball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Wilby Wildcats.

The Greyhounds (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Oxford overcame Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 14-2, in a league game.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Eagles go into the Naugatuck Valley - Brass game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Kennedy was overwhelmed by Watertown (Watertown, CT), 17-6, in a non-league game.
