The Western Alamance Warriors baseball team (Elon, NC), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA)

The Terriers now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fleming for a Blue Ridge outing on Tuesday, April 2. William Byrd will confront a Colonels team coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-6.

Next, the Warriors confront the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) in a Central 3A outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Western Alamance will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record.
